What a useful callback lead actually contains

A voicemail that says “call me back, it’s about the unit” is not a lead. You still have to listen, guess the address, and hope they pick up before they hire someone else.

A callback lead is short on purpose. Who called. The number that will reach them. Where the truck goes. What they say is wrong. Whether it can wait until morning. That is enough to decide who gets the next return call.

TradeLine stops there. It does not invent a price, promise an arrival window, or place the job on a calendar. You call back, you name the time, and you keep the schedule in Jobber, Housecall Pro, a paper book, or whatever already works.

If the summary takes longer to read than the drive between two houses, it is the wrong summary. The desk is built around that rule.
