SMS Terms & Consent

TradeLine's pilot is voice-first. If a participating business later sends transactional service-request messages, those messages help handle a customer's documented request for service.

When messages are sent

A participating business may use TradeLine to send transactional messages only after an affirmative SMS opt-in is recorded for a documented service inquiry, such as a request for scheduling, job details, or a callback. Message frequency varies based on the service request. This voice pilot does not send production homeowner texts.

Your choices

Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages. Reply HELP for help. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Participating business requirement

Before using automated SMS, each participating trade business must maintain and retain its own documented opt-in flow or disclosure and a record of the customer's consent. That record should identify the source and disclosure used for the request. An inbound call by itself is not represented as legally sufficient consent for automated SMS.

Important notice

These terms describe the TradeLine pilot and are not legal advice or a substitute for a participating trade business's own SMS terms, consent disclosures, or compliance review.
